Thank you very much for your support!

In recent weeks the Tropenmuseum has received many heartwarming responses on our Facebook page and on this website, at the museum and in the press. I am tremendously grateful for your encouragement. We need your support like never before. It means a lot to know that you have stood up for the museum and endorse its objectives.

What is the current situation?

Behind the scenes we are holding intense talks with various organisations to ensure that the museum will remain open after 2012. Naturally, our preferred option is to reach a solution with the Dutch government. Meanwhile, we shall make sure not to forget your name since we may need to ask your help and that of other supporters in the future.

Would you like to continue to support us?

Come and visit the museum and bring your family, friends and colleagues. Have you already visited the museum? Then tell others about us and show them that culture is important now and for the future.

Lejo SchenkWe look forward to welcoming you soon to the Tropenmuseum!
