The work of 16 talented photographers from World Press Photo’s African Photojournalism Database has been selected for the new exhibition that opened on the 24th of June in the Tropenmuseum.
These talented photographers from different African countries each deploy their own approach to showcase the diversity of this vast continent. Taking on a range of themes such as reconstruction, urbanisation, war, birth, and gender equality, the exhibition absorbs the viewer in the human story of both photographer and subject.
